The city of Nagoya (Japan) has recently hosted this important international event in which IK4-AZTERLAN has presented some research works through four different technical papers in the official program of the Congress.
A worldwide reference event that every two years brings together a high number of international experts and researchers to share the latest developments and advances in the casting technology.
The work program of the Congress has had several keynote lectures, a high number of technical presentations and posters, along with an international foundry exhibition and an outstanding program of industrial visits to Japanese casting companies.
IK4-Azterlan researchers have presented in the the Congress some of their latest research progress in the following fields:

– Development of ADI materials
– Advanced feeding systems for cast components
