World Foundry Organization Executive Board meeting

The World Foundry Organization has held a new working meeting in the United Kingdom to define and implement its Strategic Plan for 2018-2020.

The WFO (World Foundry Organization) is an international network established in 1927 that gathers a total of 30 member countries, including the most relevant nations in terms of production, demand and technological development within the casting industry. A clear reference and landmark for the global foundry industry.

The WFO Executive Committee working meeting has been held on the 1st of may and it has allowed to define the new working lines from the Organization for the period 2018-2020, aimed to stimulate new initiatives to enhance the technological development of the casting industry and to improve the high added value cooperation links among its member countries.

Representatives from IK4-Azterlan Metallurgical Research Center and from the Tabira Foundry Institute have taken part in this working meeting.
