AZTERLAN Metallurgy Research Centre will participate in this meeting aimed at sharing the main achievements of HiperMAT and INEVITABLE projects.
Developing more versatile materials that are capable of withstand high temperatures and thermal cycles is necessary to manufacture more durable components and keep advancing towards a more sustainable manufacturing industry that will consume less resources.
In this workshop different USE CASES will be presented that have been developed to achieve mayor energy and raw materials savings together with a leaner manufacturing process in terms of efficiency and productivity.
Technicians and specialists from the different organization taking part within HiperMAT and INNEVITABLE projects will share their latest research and developments in the field of materials, along with the new technologies employed for the manufacturing of more resistant and longer lasting components.
The meeting will be held in the CRM facilities in Liege (Belgium). The program will gather the following presentations:
- In component integrated temperature sensors (CRM/FRAUNHOFER)
- Fast approach in materials and process design by advanced modelling HIPERMAT use case (QUESTEK/ESI)
- New sustainable process for cast parts manufacturing (HydroSolidification) (AZTERLAN/SVUM/ESI)
- Components subjected to combined high wear, temperature and corrosion life extension by external layers application (CEIT/FRAUNHOFER/EURECAT)
- Digitalization in the process industry. Use case in a non-ferrous investment casting company (AZTERLAN)
