The meeting will be held next May 16 at the AZTERLAN Metallurgical Research Center. In it, case studies developed to achieve greater energy savings and mineral resources, as well as greater efficiency and productivity of manufacturing processes, will be presented.
Developing more durable metal materials and components that withstand high temperatures and thermal cycles is necessary to achieve a more sustainable process industry that consumes fewer resources. For this, it is necessary to advance in the development of new manufacturing technologies and materials based on sensorization, digitalization and modeling of processes.
On May 16, the workshop “New opportunities for digitization, sensorization and development of materials in hostile environments” will be held in order to present the technologies developed within the European projects Hipermart, Inevitable and Nemarco, through CASES OF STUDY aimed at saving energy and mineral resources, as well as greater efficiency and productivity in manufacturing processes.
This technical meeting is aimed at representatives of metal-mechanical transformation industries (foundry, steel, forging, hot stamping…), developers and designers of industrial equipment (furnaces, molds, tools, sensors…) and expert personnel in R&D dedicated to materials and processes, will have presentations related to advanced sensorics, digitization, and design of materials and processes.
