The workshop, organized in the framework of the ACTIMAT project (“New Materials for the Strategy of Intelligent Specialization in Advanced Manufacturing”), will take place on November 30th in Zamudio (Bizkaia).
The Metallurgical Research Center IK4-AZTERLAN is one of the participants in this ambitious collaborative research project, which has the active contribution of an outstanding scientific and technological agents of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network.
The meeting will bring together the experiences of organizations such as 3R3D, Analysis and Simulation, Attend2, Bilbao Bizkaia Water Consortium, Galindo Edar, Global Omnium, Ikor, Leading, Mecanocaucho, Mizar, Polikea, Sisteplant or Ura Agentzia. It is aimed at companies interested in Advanced Manufacturing and new materials as well as their diverse applications in damping, unions, additive manufacturing, structural applications or the development of new filters through advanced processes.

ACTIMAT Project (“New Materials for the Smart Specialization Strategy in Advanced Manufacturing”)
The ACTIMAT project is a common research area in the search of new materials and functionalities. It aims to improve competitiveness and sustainable industrial development, oriented towards Advanced Manufacturing and the application of materials in a wide range of solutions from various sectors.
ACTIMAT is supported by the ELKARTEK program (fund aid for Collaborative Research in Strategic Areas) of the Basque Government. The IK4-AZTERLAN Technology Center is one of the participants of the same.
