A new edition of this international event toke place on the 26th of November in the Automotive Intelligence Center (AIC) with an outstanding working program ahead.
The contents of the Forum will deal with important areas of knowledge within the high pressure die casting technology, with the participation of recognized international specialists from reference European companies.
The automotive sector is constantly aiming for lightweight strategies in vehicles, looking to improve the environmental impact and the vehicle emissions. This weight reduction can be achieved by incorporating lower density materials, such as aluminum.
High pressure die casting is a technology that can produce very competitive aluminum components for large automotive series, mainly for power train and transmission. The development of this technology is allowing certain injected parts to comply the specific requirements from the structural components, improving significantly their mechanical strength, ductility, weldability, so that they can be included as well in the vehicle chassis.
This technical framework counts with the collaboration of lecturers and specialists from the companies GEORG FISCHER AUTOMOTIVE, NEMAK Poland, BÜHLER, CHEM TREND, ELECTRONICS GmbH and from the IK4-AZTERLAN Metallurgical Center.
The different areas of knowledge shared, the high level and expertise from the diverse speakers along with the practical interest and the innovation level of some of the topics addressed have been some of the main success elements of this technical meeting that has become an international reference among the industry.
