The AZTERLAN Metallurgy Research Centre will once again participate in this outstanding training activity organized by SOCIEMAT, CESIC and CENIM.
From June 16 to 19 2025, the 3rd edition of the CSIC-SOCIEMAT Course on High Specialization in Corrosion ALECORR 2025 will take place at the National Center for Metallurgical Research CENIM-CSIC in Madrid. This 30-hour course is aimed at professionals who are giving their first steps in the field of corrosion or those looking to refresh their knowledge regarding corrosion. The course will focus on the basic fundamentals of corrosion and the use of various electrochemical techniques for its study, alternating theoretical classes with laboratory practices and analysis of real cases. The objective of this training activity is for students to be able to identify basic corrosion-related issues, as well as to apply electrochemical techniques to determine the mechanism and kinetics of the process.
The AZTERLAN MetallurgyResearch Centre will participate in this course in which Dr. Enara Mardaras, head of the Corrosion and Protection of Metallic Materials research line, will be part of the teaching staff.
