Almost 40 technicians from 29 different organizations have taken part in this outstanding framework coordinated by Durangaldea Enpresa Ekimena and aimed at sharing some keys to industrial waste advanced management and the Euskadi 2030 Waste Prevention Plan.
The conference has allowed to get first-hand knowledge of the 4 strategic objectives and the 10 actions proposed in the recently approved Waste Plan, together with some strategic initiatives launched by the Basque Government.
Similarly, some European trends and guidelines on Circular Economy have been shared which will be reflected at local level by future environmental policies.
The conference has allowed participants to contrast impressions, concerns and needs from the own industrial companies in order to face such a complex challenge, which will require as well continued public-private collaboration efforts.
