This homologation reinforces the technological capabilities of AZTERLAN to respond to the needs of the aerospace industry, summing up to those homologations from AIRBUS and LOCKHEED MARTIN (SIKORSKY), as well as to a long history of collaboration with a large number with leading companies such as HEROUX DEVTEK (CESA), AERNNOVA or ITP Aero. AZTERLAN is also accredited by NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) recognized by the internationally well known Performance Review Institute (PRI).

In the same way, AZTERLAN R&D division collaborates with the aerospace industry in the development of new materials and more efficient processes through important research efforts and projects. RIB-ON, NEMARCO, H2FREE or REINTEGRA projects, framed within the Clean Sky 2 program (oriented to the improvement of the environmental impact of European aeronautical sector) are a good example of the research efforts and capabilities from the Technology Centre.

The knowledge and technical skills of AZTERLAN, relies on avant-garde equipment and facilities that enable the Metallurgy Research Centre to offer a wide range of services and advanced materials characterization, defect and service failure analysis, Non Destructive Testing and innovation services oriented to boost the competitiveness of companies.

Accreditations and certifications of AZTERLAN
