The capital of Georgia, Atlanta, held a monographic conference on ADI on 27th and 28th of October 2016, under the promotion of the Ductile Iron Society (DIS).
IK4-Azterlan was present in the event thanks to the presentation “Austempered Ductile Iron (ADI). An alternative material for high performance applications”. This work was presented by Arron Rimmer, Director of ADI Treatments Limited Ltd., and has been developed in cooperation with ADILAN Group, Tecnun-Universidad de Navarra and IK4-Azterlan.

The USA market counts with a well known tradition in the design of ADI components and this event has been an excellent opportunity to show that European research can also add value in this field.
