Funnel Riser

The riser is a metal store that is attached to the pieces in order to compensate for the phenomenon of metal contraction and prevent internal health defects called sink marks that invalidate the pieces, in casting processes. The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a feeder with a higher performance than current feeders, coated or not, whose manufacturing cost is lower and does not require any coating. The chimney riser consists of a single element, which is molded simultaneously with the mould. It comprises an upper, vertical or quasi-vertical chamber, a wider lower chamber and at least one conduit that starts from the lower chamber, through which the metal flows from the riser to the piece.
