Azterlan is a Technology Center whose objective is the generation, capture and transfer of technology to the industry, together with the provision of advanced technological services, which contribute to the innovation and the improvement of the competitiveness of the metal-mechanical industry.
Azterlan promotes excellence through specialization and the coordination and integration of its specific capabilities in the field of metallurgy, collaborating with other scientific-technological agents, promoting the efficient use of resources destined for research and promoting the training and integration of highly qualified people. qualified. in the economic and social environment it serves.
Our vision
Azterlan is known and recognized by society and by the companies in the different industrial sectors with which it works, as a specialized Technology Center that provides value, responds to their technological needs and develops its activity with a high level of professionalism.
The Center works to become a European benchmark in metallurgy, with a significant impact on the transformation of companies in this country. To carry out its mission, it collaborates closely with universities and other scientific-technological agents of reference at a national and international level.
